Zwind WebDAV: Connected Accounts and Files

When you connect cloud storage or another network source to Zwind WebDAV, the app processes the account identifier and available account name or email to identify the connection. It accesses file and folder identifiers, names, paths, sizes, dates, other available metadata, and the contents needed for the operations you choose. These data support browsing your existing folders, searching, viewing and playing files, editing text, downloading, uploading, creating folders, copying, moving, renaming, and deleting items.

The app connects from your device to the storage service using that service's authentication method. OAuth connections use the provider's sign-in and consent process; native OAuth account tokens are stored in the device Keychain and referenced from connection settings. Other source types can use passwords, cookies, keys, or credentials you supply, stored in the applicable connection settings or storage configuration. You control which sources and folders are connected and which operations are performed.

File transfers take place between your device and the connected service. When you copy or move content to another destination, the selected files and their metadata are sent to the destination you choose. When you enable local WebDAV access, selected resources and the metadata needed to browse them are available to connected clients under your server's access controls. Authorized external tools, including MCP clients, can access the resources and operations you enable. The storage providers, destination services, client apps, and external tools you choose process the data they receive under their own policies.

Native OAuth tokens use device-only Keychain protection, and native cloud API connections use HTTPS. Local server connections use the protocol, authentication, and network settings you configure. Connection settings and local file metadata remain on the device for use by the app. Browsing and transfers can create memory caches, temporary files, downloaded copies, and media caches. Temporary transfer files are released as the transfer is completed or disposed of; saved downloads remain until you delete them, and media caches can be cleared in Settings.

Disconnecting a native OAuth account removes its saved tokens from Zwind's device Keychain. You can also revoke the app's access in the storage provider's account settings. Manage downloaded files, connection records, and storage configuration through the app and device file controls. Files held by the storage provider remain there until you delete them through the app or that service; the provider's recovery and retention rules apply. Keychain items can persist across app uninstallations, so use Disconnect to remove saved native OAuth credentials.

Zwind WebDAV: Google API Data

Zwind WebDAV's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs, including raw, aggregated, and derived data, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, and the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy. Access to Google Drive data supports the connected-file workflows described above. Use of this information is limited to providing and improving user-facing features. Transfers are limited to those needed to provide or improve these features, as directed by the user or otherwise permitted by those policies. These commitments apply to Google API data alongside the general provisions of this policy.

Zwind WebDAV: Official Messages and Notifications

In iOS versions that support official messages, Zwind registers the app's existing random device UUID with its messaging service and collects the app version, build number, language and notification settings to provide service notices and product updates to your device. When system notifications are enabled, we also collect a device notification identifier to deliver them. Using these online services also involves processing ordinary network information, such as your IP address.

Service providers that support hosting and notification delivery process the information needed to provide these services. This feature does not upload your personal files, shared content, server credentials or browsing history. Images and links in messages are provided by their respective websites, which receive ordinary network request information when you load or open that content.

You can turn off Zwind's system notifications at any time in iOS Settings. Official messages remain available within the app when system notifications are turned off.

Deleting messages or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete information already collected for the messaging service. You can use the contact details in this policy to request deletion of data associated with your device ID.

Zwind Photo Rotator: Photos and Backups

With your Photos permission, Zwind Photo Rotator processes accessible photos and videos, library identifiers, dates, media types, album membership, favorites, screenshot status, and other metadata needed to evaluate your rules and prepare batches. Limited Photos access restricts the app to the items you allow. Text recognition and rule evaluation run on your device; photo content and recognized text are not sent to Zwind for cloud analysis.

When you confirm a backup, the app transfers original photo and video resources directly from your device to the SMB share or WebDAV server you configure. Original files can contain embedded metadata, including capture dates, camera information, and GPS location. Backup manifests also record metadata needed to identify and verify resources, including file information, checksums, and Photos metadata such as dates, favorites, and album identifiers. Your selected storage provider or server operator handles these backups under its own policies and access controls; they are not uploaded to a Zwind-hosted photo storage service.

Destination addresses, rules, scan records, and backup history are stored locally. Destination usernames and passwords are stored in the iOS Keychain; references to those credentials are kept in app configuration and used to connect to your selected storage. Temporary resources may be created during transfers and verification. Connection and backup requests reveal ordinary network information to the destination, such as your IP address and authentication details needed for access. The protection of the connection depends on the protocol and server configuration; use HTTPS for WebDAV where supported.

Scanning does not delete items. The app verifies backups before requesting deletion through Photos, and you review the system deletion request. If you use iCloud Photos, deletion can also remove items from iCloud Photos and other synced devices. Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days. The device space they occupy is released when they are permanently deleted there. To free that space sooner, open Photos → Recently Deleted and delete them permanently after checking your backup. You cannot recover them from Photos afterward. You can also check Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Photos. If Empty Recently Deleted is offered, use it to empty the album. Deleting an app record or uninstalling Zwind Photo Rotator does not delete remote backups, and restoring backed-up files may not restore every Photos library property.

Zwind Photo Rotator Product Analytics

Normal production builds of Zwind Photo Rotator enable Google Firebase Analytics (GA4) automatically when configured. There is no in-app analytics opt-in or opt-out switch. Collection is separate from advertising consent and continues for Pro users. Development builds and screenshot or test-fixture sessions do not collect product analytics.

Product events report fixed screen names and whether a scan or rotation started, succeeded, stopped, failed, was incomplete, or was denied permission. These event payloads exclude photo and video content, recognized text, photo identifiers, filenames, paths, library counts, rule contents, storage addresses, credentials, batch identifiers, and free-form error messages.

The Firebase SDK also processes standard app lifecycle, session and device information, app-instance identifiers, approximate geography derived from network information, and supported automatic purchase events. These records are not anonymous merely because the app has no account login. The app does not set an analytics user ID, disables IDFV collection and automatic screen reporting, and does not include Firebase advertising identity support. Firebase analytics advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization consent are set to denied, and advertising personalization signals are disabled. These settings describe Firebase analytics; AdMob advertising has a separate data flow below.

Google processes analytics data to provide measurement and reporting. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security for provider details. You can contact Zwind about applicable privacy rights; advertising choices do not disable this product analytics collection.

Zwind Photo Rotator Advertising and Consent

The free version may display ads through Google AdMob. Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages applicable consent messages and privacy choices; ad requests are made only when UMP permits them. Depending on your region, choices, system permissions, and ad configuration, Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, device and installation identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, approximate location, diagnostic information, ad interactions, and consent choices to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Photo content, recognized text, storage credentials, and backup files are not supplied by the app as ad targeting inputs.

Where required, you can revisit advertising choices using the app's Privacy Options control. You can also manage tracking permissions in iOS Settings. Pro removes in-app ads; it does not disable Firebase product analytics or purchase management. Google's information about partner apps and sites explains its advertising data practices.

Information We Process

Depending on the product and features you use, Zwind may process account, purchase, subscription, entitlement, usage, device, diagnostic, and support information. Zwind may also process product settings such as server names, paths, bookmarks, credentials or tokens you provide, pairing data, playback state, resolver settings, journal content, recognized text, metadata, requests and responses, export state, and sharing preferences.

Zwind apps may process files, folders, media, local network addresses, WebDAV endpoints, SMB shares, feeds, web pages, cloud-style file locations, Photos library items you select or permit the app to scan, screenshots, recognized text, journal entries, share pages, and exported archives. The exact information depends on the permissions you grant, sources you configure, and features you choose to use.

Zwind websites and online pages may process ordinary technical information such as request logs, browser and device data, referral information, analytics or measurement events, promotion and redemption requests, form submissions, and messages you send to Zwind.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Zwind products; operate app features you request; remember your settings; manage purchases and subscriptions; respond to support requests; prevent abuse; measure website and promotion performance; and comply with legal, platform, tax, accounting, and security obligations.

When you use online features, Zwind may use selected content, recognized text, metadata, account or purchase state, usage state, diagnostics, and related requests and responses to provide the feature, maintain reliability, enforce limits, and improve safety and quality.

Local and Device Data

Many Zwind workflows are local to your device or local network. Zwind WebDAV can expose selected local files, folders, mapped file locations, network sources, feeds, and projected resources through a server you configure. Zwind TV can browse and play content from local network or WebDAV sources and may keep server entries, pairing state, and playback progress on the device. Zwind Scrapbook can scan or import screenshots from Photos with your permission, recognize text, organize related captures, create journal entries, search saved content, share selected pages, and export archives.

Local files, media, screenshots, recognized text, journals, playback history, server settings, and app configuration generally remain under your control on your device unless you choose a feature that sends information outside the device, connect another client to a server you start, open content in another app, share or export content, configure an external source, or use an online feature.

Network Sources and External Content

If you connect WebDAV servers, SMB shares, feeds, web pages, cloud-style locations, local network devices, or other external sources, Zwind processes the information needed to access, browse, search, resolve, display, and play that content. Requests to those sources are governed by the settings you provide and by the policies of the services, websites, devices, or networks you connect.

When you start a local server, pair devices, or allow another client to access a Zwind endpoint, information may be made available to devices or apps that can reach the server according to the access controls and network environment you choose.

Online Features and Service Providers

Some Zwind features may rely on online infrastructure or service providers for hosting, purchase validation, entitlement management, analytics, diagnostics, abuse prevention, communications, content processing, sharing, storage, or other operational needs. These providers may process information on Zwind's behalf or under their own terms, depending on the service and your interaction with it.

Optional online processing features may send selected content, recognized text, metadata, prompts, requests, responses, account or purchase state, usage state, and diagnostics as needed to provide the feature, enforce limits, improve reliability, and protect the service. You should use these features only with content you are comfortable processing online.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases, subscriptions, refunds, trials, billing, and family sharing are handled through the app marketplace or payment channel you use. Zwind may receive and process purchase status, subscription status, entitlement state, transaction identifiers, offer or promotion state, storefront or region information, and related diagnostics so that paid features can be enabled, restored, supported, and protected against abuse.

Zwind Photo Rotator's Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. When configured, RevenueCat manages purchase validation, restoration, and entitlements. It processes a generated app user identifier, transaction and purchase records, entitlement state, and relevant device or diagnostic information. The app does not provide photo content, recognized text, backup files, or storage credentials to RevenueCat. Payment card details are handled by Apple, not Zwind Photo Rotator. See Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Sharing and Exports

When you share, export, publish, open in another app, or send content through system share sheets or external tools, the selected files, media, journal content, images, text, metadata, or archives may be handled by the destination you choose. Those destinations are not controlled by Zwind.

Retention and Control

Local app data is kept as long as it remains in the app, on your device, in your selected files, or in sources you connect. You can remove servers, credentials, bookmarks, paired devices, imported items, journals, exports, share pages, resolver rules, marker files, and other local records using available app controls, device settings, file management tools, or by uninstalling the app.

Online records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service operation, security, abuse prevention, support, accounting, legal compliance, and backup integrity. You may contact Zwind to request access, correction, deletion, or other help with information associated with you, subject to applicable law, technical limits, and records Zwind must retain.

For Zwind Photo Rotator, you can manage Photos and local network permissions in iOS Settings and manage rules and destinations in the app. Remote backup files and manifests remain on your selected storage until you remove them there; removing a destination or uninstalling the app does not remove those backups. Keychain credentials may survive uninstalling an app. Analytics, advertising, consent, and purchase records are retained according to the relevant provider configuration, service needs, and legal obligations; uninstalling the app does not automatically erase records already processed by those providers.
